Your first visit is spent conducting a thorough examination, which includes:
• Personal interview with Dr. Cyphers to express additional desires or goals (such as cosmetic dentistry, apprehension and sedation dentistry, implants or reconstruction)
• Complete review of your health history
• Any necessary diagnostic x-rays will be taken
• Your blood pressure will be checked and documented
• Dr. Cyphers will perform a clinical exam of the head and neck
• You will also be screened for oral cancer
• Your periodontal health will be evaluated
• All teeth and existing restorations will be checked for signs of decay
• Impressions may be taken for study models

With the information that we gather during this examination we can develop a comprehensive treatment plan to meet your dental needs.
